Executive Function Support
for Students and Adults

Helping learners ace their studies and have time for fun since 2009
Book a Complimentary Session
Eve Chosak, MFA
As a neurodivergent academic coach and tutor, I relate to the struggles many of my students face. I welcome the opportunity to help them realize that with a few key tools, they can achieve much more than they thought possible. I help each learner through the hardest tasks so they ace their studies and have time for fun.

My specialty is coaching students who don’t otherwise thrive in school. I have helped the math-averse become confident students with an “A” average, I have aided students
who think they can’t write papers learn to compose with confidence, and I have coached the organizationally challenged to track assignments, get their work handed in on time, and see their grades go up dramatically with little additional effort. Students with writers block are able to craft beautiful high school and college application essays that highlight their true passions and gifts, and bolster their application. Students who struggle on tests learn how to improve their scores without needing to work harder.

Like a detective, I identify where there are gaps in a student's academic experience, and close those gaps so the student has what they need to excel.
I also discover where each student is
naturally brilliant, and use what they know and care about as a launching pad to guide them to new understanding. I stay with each learner through the hardest parts of a challenge, listening to what they say, as well as to what they are not saying. I notice when they get frustrated, and I extend compassion, praise effort, and appreciate what is valuable about their perspective.
"I just really appreciate how much you saw me and understood me as a person. You were able to bring out my best essay writing so that the colleges could see me too."        - Tallulah, Mills College
Eve Chosak, Executive Function Coach and Tutor for Neurodivergent Teens and Adults
“You have an ability to understand my son's thinking process and be flexible with the way his brain works. You were able to fill in the gaps with systems he needed to put into place to be successful. Prior to your coaching, my son struggled.” - Kyle, Parent.
What I Do

I have taught for 20+ years, tutored for 15 years, and have a background in educational theory and practice, as well as a passion for cognitive neuroscience. I create customized learning experiences for diverse learners. I help neurodivergent learners overcome barriers to understanding, and achieve beyond what they thought possible. I take pride in seeing that a learner has everything necessary to transfer learning into the classroom and beyond, by participating fully in the teams of educators, therapists, and parents who care about the success of that student.
